TC Diary

JUNE JAUNT

Flood at TC Ranch
We are still having rain and even had a flood. Our lane road and bottom country road were under water. There was a big rain north of us 10 miles and the water came down our creek and through the bulls' lots – bringing trash and taking out fences. Vance had gone a half mile up from where we live to check fences and crossed a bridge – an hour later the bridge was gone.

The bulls including Sitz Tradition, TC Beef Maker, TC Foundation and TC Power Stroke are out to pasture. The pastures are really lush with all the rain.

Mother and head NE football coach Callahan.
To celebrate my mother's 93rd birthday, we attended Football 101 along with 1200 other females (and being the oldest one present and having a birthday – the coaches gave Mother special treatment and she was interviewed on TV). What a fun time we had. All the football coaches and their wives were there and instructed us in basic football. Then several ladies would volunteer and demonstrate different plays. This is a yearly event and the money raised goes for breast cancer research.

We enjoyed Australian visitors this month. I tell Vance my file on Australia is getting bigger and bigger – he better hurry up and make plans to visit or we will have to spend two months instead of just a month on our trip down under.

Since we had so much fun at Football 101, I leave you with . . .
